Solution 03

Zero liquid discharge (ZLD)

ZLD schemes for plants operating under zero-discharge consent conditions. We build the water balance first, maximise membrane recovery before thermal load, and size evaporation only for the residual — because every m³ pushed into an evaporator is an energy bill for the plant's lifetime.

Process and technologies

High-recovery RO

Multi-stage RO with EXO-DESCALER conditioning to hold recovery high without scaling the tail elements.

MEE

Multiple-effect evaporation with thermal or mechanical vapour recompression to cut steam consumption per m³.

Crystalliser

Salt recovery from the concentrated stream, producing a handleable solid instead of a stored brine liability.

ATFD

Agitated thin-film drying of the final slurry to a dry, disposable or saleable solid.

Typical performance

Inlet against outlet

Representative ranges from delivered plants. Guaranteed values are fixed against your own inlet analysis and consent conditions at proposal stage.

Reference

ZLD for a textile processing unit

Membrane-led recovery ahead of thermal stages to cut evaporator duty and operating cost. 40 KLD scheme at Ambernath with 90% membrane recovery ahead of the evaporator, nil liquid discharge under MPCB consent, commissioned 2024.

Other systems

01

Sewage treatment plants (STP)

Municipal and township sewage treated to CPCB/MPCB discharge and reuse norms.

02

Effluent treatment plants (ETP)

Industrial effluent brought inside consent limits, with recovery designed in from day one.

04

RO & UF systems

Membrane trains sized for the feed you actually have, not the brochure case.

Request an assessment

Tell us your ZLD requirement.

Give us the parameters you have — flow, COD, BOD, TDS, consent conditions — and an engineer responds with a treatment scheme, a footprint and an indicative cost. No obligation, no sales sequence.

  1. 01

    Share your inlet data

Flow, COD, BOD, TDS, pH, consent conditions — whatever you have.

  2. 02

    Engineer reviews within 24 h

A process engineer, not a sales rep, studies the parameters.

  3. 03

    Receive scheme + estimate

Treatment train, footprint, indicative cost and next steps.
